Learning Support Assistant - Vocational Pathways
Location: Northampton
Salary: £12.54 per hour (plus holiday pay, pro rata to £24,123 per annum FTE)
Contract: Hourly paid, term-time only
Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a friendly, patient and proactive Learning Support Assistant to work alongside students as they develop practical and academic skills across a range of vocational subjects. Whether you're confident baking bread, grooming animals, or supporting construction tasks, this is an opportunity to play a key role in helping learners gain confidence and thrive in hands-on environments.
This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same, and much of the support takes place outdoors or in workshop settings. If you're someone who enjoys practical learning and supporting others to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Positions:

Full-time (Monday to Friday) - Supporting learners in Construction and Foundation Learning.
Part-time (Wednesday to Friday) - Supporting learners in Construction and Foundation Learning.Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support to students during lessons, helping them to engage with their studies and develop independence.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure students receive the tailored support they need to succeed.
Support students in both practical workshop environments and classroom settings.
Help students develop confidence, routine and workplace-related skills in their chosen vocational area.What We're Looking For:

Flexibility and willingness to assist across a range of subject areas and learning activities.
Experience in education, support, or working with young people is desirable but not essential - training can be provided for the right candidate.Roles are offered on a term-time, hourly-paid basis.
