SpLD Tutor Assessor

• Annual Salary: £38,940 - £40,100
• Location: Surrey
• Job Type: Full-time 36 hours per week

We are currently seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic SpLD Tutor & Exams Access Arrangements Assessor to join a friendly and hard-working ALS team an Ofstead rated "Good" establishment.

Day-to-day of the role of an SpLD Tutor and Assessor:

• Ensure students with identified Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and other additional needs are supported to develop skills and strategies to become independent learners.
• Ensure that exam arrangements are in place for all learners who require these and are conducted according to JCQ and Awarding Organisations regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the SpLD Tutor Assessor post:

• Level 7 SpLD Assessors Qualification or equivalent Exam Access Arrangements qualification.
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Knowledge of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments.
• Experience of supporting students/young people with specific additional needs.
• Highly motivated with exceptional organisational skills.
• A degree or equivalent qualification.
