About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage pupils in upper Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 5.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
Uphold school policies on safeguarding and behaviour management.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
A passion for education and commitment to pupil success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
