Team leader

we are recruiting for a Team leader for our Wolverhampton based client who are a metals recycling company who specialise in the recovery of non-ferrous metal. After a successful trial period you will get the opportunity to be a permanent member and progress with the company.

Role of Team leader

* Supervise and lead a small team (4-5 people) in daily plant operations

* Delegate tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

* Operate a B1 counterbalance forklift and loading shovel

* Load, unload, and move materials around the site

* Monitor workflow and help solve day-to-day issues

* Make sure all team members follow health and safety rules

* Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults

* Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe

* Ensure materials are sorted, stored, and processed correctly

* Communicate with management and report any problems

* Help train new or less experienced team members

* Record basic information like stock movements or incidents

Details of Team leader

* Working hours: 05:30am- 17:30pm(4 on 4 off)

* Pay rate: Starting at £15.60

* 12 hour shifts- 4 on 4 off

* Overtime available and paid at a premium

* Duration: Temp to Perm
