OMI Cranes has immediate openings in Dallas/Fort Worth for 2 experienced and motivated overhead crane field technicians, servicing the North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas areas. Highly qualified and experienced candidates will be eligible for a sign on bonus at time of hire.
OMI is a 24/7 service company performing:
- Installations of overhead cranes
- Installations of jibs
- Installations of hoists
With over 40 years experience, OMI is a leader in the crane industry and is pursuing growth within as well as outside of existing territories.
Overhead crane service experience is required as is an excellent knowledge of 230/460v AC magnetic controls, motors, mechanical drive trains as well as a good understanding of the operation of radio and variable frequency controls. Field technicians will be responsible for detailed paperwork and reporting procedures as well as punctual and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers. Overnight travel, overtime and weekend work will be required when and as needed. Applicants must have their own tools to include but not limited to drills, multimeter, amprobe, grinder, standard and metric socket, allen and wrench sets, screw drivers etc. A detailed list of required tools will be provided during the interview process.
Candidates must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment.
OMI will provide a 3/4 or 1 ton truck with service body, credit card, cell phone, uniform shirts and PPE.
Position will be hourly and paid weekly. Benefits include 401k, vacation and health/dental plan.
