Furthermore, the business is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team due to growth within their Sheffield office The successful candidate can look forward to joining an already amazing business who currently employ over 2500 members of staff, who have all received first class training. Furthermore, during the company’s proud 100-year history they have developed an exceptional reputation within their market. The Credit Controller can look forward to a starting salary of up to £19,000, 25 days holiday, Contributary Pension, Health Plan, Critical Illness Cover, Death in Service Cover, Discounted Online Shopping, Season Ticket travel loan and Childcare Vouchers in addition to training that is second to non and brilliant working hours of 8:30-6 Monday to Friday. The successful Credit Controller will be required to: * While adhering to company policies and procedures, demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers, clients and Third parties. * Complete compliance module and refresher training as and when assigned to ensure up to date knowledge of regulation and codes of practice. * Adhering to both internal and client SLA’s, understanding key client scorecards and understanding how individual and team performance impacts on performance of the business * Deal with general account enquiries and take routine payments from customer and where appropriate completing affordability assessments to find the most appropriate and sustainable solution. * Maintains up-to-date key customer contact information within the case management systems * Treat all customers fairly, professionally and within legislation and codes of practice. * Liaise with other teams on behalf of customers to resolve problems. * Record customer complaints and relevant information accurately in accordance with complaints procedure. * Follow established collections processes and procedures. * Work effectively as part of a team - May be required to support others to facilitate teamwork in the department. * Maintain department standards at all times. * Serves as a resource/subject matter expert and may provide training to fellow team members * Any other duties/tasks as assigned by Line Manager What we look for in a Credit Controller: * 4 GCSE’s – to include Maths and English * Ability to maintain accuracy and work independently * Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication * Questioning and Negotiation Skills * Proficient Computer skills * Previous Finance/Credit/Collections experience – minimum of 12 months Salary of up to £19,000, 25 days holiday, Contributary Pension, Health Plan, Critical Illness Cover, Death in Service Cover, Discounted Online Shopping, Season Ticket travel loan and Childcare Vouchers in addition to training that is second to non and brilliant working hours of 8:30-6 Monday to Friday
