Summary:
We are looking for skilled and motivated Controls Commissioning Engineers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong electrical and PLC commissioning expertise who want to develop further within automated material handling and control system projects. You will be at the forefront of commissioning advanced automation solutions, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely project delivery.

Main Job Objectives:

* Deliver assigned project scope by meeting or exceeding safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget targets.

* Commission control systems on-site, including electrical and PLC software, while supporting system testing and end-user training.

* Produce commissioning documentation such as checklists, test specifications, method statements, and risk assessments in line with BS EN ISO 12100.

* Interpret electrical schematics and design documentation.

* Ensure systems meet CE and Machinery Directive compliance.

* Commission safety-related parts of control systems in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849, 13850, and 60204.

Key Responsibilities:

* Represent the company with professionalism, maintaining a positive and solution-focused approach.

* Build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.

* Liaise across departments to support seamless project delivery.

* Apply and maintain company standards in all project work.

* Comply with company policies and safety requirements.

* Promote continuous improvement in processes, time, cost, and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferred).

* HNC/HND in Electrical or Controls Engineering (minimum requirement).

* Strong experience in both PLC and electrical commissioning activities.

* Proficiency with Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) or Allen Bradley (RSLogix) development software.

* Familiarity with SCADA systems (WinCC, Iconics, Ignition) is desirable.

* Confident using AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).

* Experience with industrial networks such as Profinet, Profibus, ASi, or Ethernet/IP.

* Understanding of automated warehouse and material handling systems (advantageous, not essential).

* Ability to interpret electrical and electronic technical manuals and schematics.

* Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally up to 80% of the time.
