Job Title: CNC Turner (Setter / Operator / Programmer)
Location: Wallsall, West Midlands
Hours of Work: Standard Days (Flexibility Required)
Pay Rate: £15 - £17 per hour (Depending on Experience)

AMLR Manufacturing Services are recruiting on behalf of a respected, family-run precision engineering company based in the Wednesbury - Walsall area. Due to continued growth and demand, our client is looking to add a skilled CNC Turner to their team.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes, working with either Mazak (Mazatrol) or Citizen Mitutoyo machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit business that values craftsmanship, quality, and long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines (Mazak or Citizen Mitutoyo)

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Conduct first-off and in-process inspections

* Ensure parts are manufactured to tight tolerances and high standards

* Carry out routine machine maintenance

* Work independently and as part of a small team

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience in an engineering/machine shop environment

* Skilled with Mazak (Mazatrol) or Citizen Mitutoyo controls

* Able to program online or offline, set, and operate CNC lathes

* Time-served or apprentice-trained CNC Turner

* A proactive, flexible, and quality-focused approach
