The basics:

Job Title: Production Operative / Trainee machine setter - machine operator

Role: Permanent

Location: Broxtowe

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am/7:30am to 3:30pm/4pm Fridays 7am/7:30am with a 5.5hr shift

Nights: You may be required to work nights approx. 2 weeks of nights every 12 weeks: Monday to Wednesday x3 10hr shifts starting at 4pm/5pm and Thursdays x1 7.5hr shift starting at 4pm/5pm.

Pay: Days: £11.44 per hour working a 37.5hr week, anything overpaid at overtime rates.

Should you work nights this will be paid a 1.33.

Overtime rates: 1.5 Mon to Saturday

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional production support due to growing demand. This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.

Role overview:

Working closely with the engineering and production team you will be tasked to aid production output helping in areas across the business that involve a range of engineering processes. The role will include:

- Working to SOP's standard operating procedures - following work instructions

- Packing and loading

- Aiding with machinery operation

- Data entry - using handheld devices and computers

- General duties as directed by production supervisors

The ideal candidate / Production Operative / Trainee machine setter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

- An engineering background or interest or previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment

- Any mechanical skills beneficial - basic mechanical skills using handheld tools

- Competent with computers to a basic level

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
