Reed Education are currently looking for a full time SEN TA to join a fantastic primary school in Cambridge from September.
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? A fantastic primary school in central Cambridge is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with ASD, helping them thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities: - ?? 1:1 support with reading, writing, and classroom activities
- ?? Behavioural management inside and outside the classroom
- ?? Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored support plans
- ?? Encouraging communication, independence, and confidence in learning
What We’re Looking For: - ? Experience working with SEN pupils – particularly those with ASD
- ? Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
- ? A DBS on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for one
- ? A UK address and right to work
- ? Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
