Role: Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Doncaster
Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life? We are seeking an experienced and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and communication needs at a warm, inclusive primary school in Doncaster.

Responsibilities

* Provide specialist 1:1 support for a non-verbal pupil with ASD, including elements of personal care.

* Lead small group and individual learning sessions tailored to pupils needs.

* Work across Reception and KS1, delivering focused 1:1 support as well as group-based activities.

* Deliver creative, sensory-rich activities to engage and inspire learners.

* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and collaborate effectively with the wider team

To be considered for this role, you will need:

* A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience within EYFS & KS1 settings.

* Experience supporting pupils in a primary school, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.

* A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and experience maintaining learning records.

* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
