Engineering Tutor (Welding and Fabricating)

Are you a Welder and Fabricator looking for your first role in education with a company who will support provide full training to allow you to become a fully qualified Trainer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career within education with an organisation who take a 'hands on' approach to education, giving you the opportunity to inspire a new generation of engineers.

The college are renowned in the local area for their quality of education services, and due to an ever-increasing demand for their services, they are now looking to recruit an Engineering Tutor with a background in Welding and Fabricating to join their friendly Engineering Department.

This position would suit an Engineer with Welding and Fabricating experience, looking to move off the tools and into an education-based role where you will work with young Engineers at the start of their career - helping them achieve their NVQ Level 2/ 3 and City & Guilds successfully.

The Role:

  • Full training and qualifications provided
  • Delivering practical demonstrations and lessons to students
  • Monday to Friday 39 hours a week
  • £24,000 - £27,000 + Training + Progression + Pension

    The Candidate:

    • Good Welding and Fabricating Experience
    • Looking for a career in education
    • No previous education experience needed
    • Will be DBS Checked
