Grounds Maintenance Operative (Full UK Driving Licence Required - Manual Vehicle)

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hours per week)
💷 Pay: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
📅 Contract: Temp to Perm
The Employer provides VAN and Fuel card, will be working in a team of two.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable, full-time work with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

General grounds maintenance including grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, and litter picking

Use of power tools and machinery (e.g. strimmers, mowers)

Driving a company vehicle (manual transmission) to various sites

Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard with health and safety in mind

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) - Essential

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor/manual role

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
