Management Accountant

• Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join the Finance team of a market leader in Wrexham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional to ensure the smooth operation of the management accounting section within a busy finance department. The successful candidate will use their financial expertise to meet stringent deadlines and support the company's financial health.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for senior management and head office.
• Provide a full accounting service including MIS, monthly standard reporting, VAT returns, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Engage in problem-solving and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of the department.
• Produce materials for meetings and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
• Undertake project work as applicable, supporting the Finance team to drive initiatives that align with the company's vision and mission.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Strong experience in a Management Accountant role
• Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise team tasks effectively and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Technically strong – SAP experience desirable
