About the role
Join a creative, collaborative design team as a Trainee Designer. This entry level role is ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in art and design who wants to build practical product design skills, grow a professional portfolio, and learn from experienced designers. You will support end to end design activities, contribute to visual and interaction design, and take part in user focused projects.

Key responsibilities

Provide current and future range ideas, to produce illustrations of new products and new ranges.
Produce detailed product specification sheets for suppliers to produce product samples.
To provide artwork and illustration of new packaging and labelling development.
Produce high quality photographs of all samples and Bespoke products.
Design the companies Brochure, flyers and other promotional materials.
To present ideas, illustrations and specification sheets at weekly product meetings.
Liaise and track all sample and artwork development with the suppliers.
Assist in the management of all samples.
Support in managing the design logs, designs and quotes and the artwork logs.
Maintain the design databases of drawings, specification sheets and photography.
What we're looking for

Interest in or study of art and design (degree, course, self-taught practice or portfolio work)
Genuine passion for learning and developing design skills
Creative thinking and an eye for visual composition
Good communication and teamwork skills
