Location: Glasgow
Salary: £40,000 + OT + option of on call

We are recruiting an experienced Pipefitter to join a well-established Facilities Management business, supporting industrial and commercial projects across a diverse range of client sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical trades professional looking to develop their career within a stable and respected FM organisation.

About the Role

As a Pipefitter, you will carry out installation, maintenance, repair and welding work on industrial and commercial heating and ventilating systems. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary FM team, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair commercial and industrial pipework systems

*

Carry out welding duties including fabrication, joint preparation and pipe welding

*

Work on heating, ventilation, and mechanical plant equipment

*

Interpret technical drawings, specifications and site plans

*

Deliver both planned and reactive works across client sites

*

Ensure all welding and pipefitting work meets industry and safety standards

*

Collaborate with FM teams, engineers and contractors to deliver high-quality service

*

Complete all documentation, reports and work records accurately

Requirements

*

SVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilating Installation (Industrial and Commercial)

*

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Pipefitter

*

Experience in commercial/industrial welding techniques (MMA/TIG/MIG depending on role)

*

Strong understanding of industrial/commercial mechanical systems

*

Ability to work independently and within a wider FM team

*

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices

*

Full UK driving licence (preferred depending on site requirements)
