PE Teacher - Ongoing Sickness Cover

We are currently seeking a qualified PE Teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings to join a well-established SEN school in Haringey. This is an ongoing role to cover sickness absence, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with a wide range of needs, from primary through to sixth form. With a strong focus on personalised learning, the staff team are dedicated to helping every pupil achieve their potential both academically and personally.

The role:

Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across primary, secondary, and sixth form

Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements

Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers to create a positive learning environment

Contribute to the school's ethos of inclusion, respect, and achievement

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education

Proven experience teaching in an SEN school setting

Confidence in planning and delivering lessons for pupils aged 5-18

Strong behaviour management, patience, and a nurturing approach

Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for working with young people with SEN
