About Us:
We are a fast growing civil engineering firm who due to continued growth are looking to add a permanent finance manager to our team. We work with across a mixture of infrastructure and highways projects across the UK with a focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Working directly with the Managing Director on month end tasks, forecasting and strategic initiatives.
- Potential to grow with the business and progress to a director level role.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making
- Oversee cash flow management and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and financial governance standards
- Liaise with auditors, HMRC, and other regulatory bodies
- Mentor and manage finance team members, fostering professional development
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully/part qualified ACCA or AAT Level 4 with a strong knowledge of the Construction industry processes
- Strong experience in managing accounts and financial reporting in a medium to large business
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
