Position: Premises Officer

Location: Southwark, London
Salary: £25,820 to £28,110, annum
Additional Allowance: £3,000 annual payment for unsocial working hours

Job Type: Full Time
Hours: Monday- Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm additional 15 Saturdays from 7:00am -6:00pm to be worked each year.

Complete Classroom Services are seeking a reliable and proactive Premises officer to join our facilities team supporting schools in the Southwark area.

This is a vital role within our organisation, ensuring school sites operate efficiently, safely, and are well-maintained for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the daily maintenance and operational management of school facilities

* Perform minor repairs, manual handling, porterage, and site set-up duties

* Ensure premises are secure and compliant with health & safety standards

* Monitor and report building and grounds issues requiring attention

* Provide support during school events, including set-up and pack-down

* Work collaboratively with the wider site and cleaning teams

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have previous experience in a facilities, site, or caretaking role (preferably in schools or education)

* Possess strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Be familiar with basic H&S procedures and safeguarding standards

* Be flexible, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team

* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS for work in schools
