We are working alongside a leading Passive Fire Protection company to help in their search for a new Commercial Director. Focusing on profitability, growth, and stakeholder management, this involves overseeing project lifecycles, managing commercial teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This is an amazing opportunuty to take a lead role within a market leading PFP Subcontractor, and help lead the business into new growth and opportunities. The role comes with a competitive basic, car and bonus scheme.

Responsibilities to include the following;

Strategic Planning & Business Development:

* Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the passive fire protection sector.

* Drive business development initiatives, including client relationship management.

* Contribute to strategic planning and execution in collaboration with company leadership.

Commercial Management:

* Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of passive fire protection projects, from initial enquiry to project delivery.

* Manage commercial processes, including procurement, valuations, change management, and final accounts.

* Ensure cost control, accurate forecasting, and timely financial reporting.

* Monitor and report on CVRs, profitability, and key performance indicators.

* Negotiate contract payment terms to ensure positive cash flow.

Team Leadership & Management:

* Lead and manage a team of commercial and operational staff to help business growth.

* Foster a high-performance culture and provide guidance to team members.

* Develop and implement commercial best practices.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards.

Skills & Experience:

* Strong commercial management background within the passive fire protection industry.

* Excellent understanding of fire strategies, supply chain management, and valuation processes.

* Proven experience in project management, particularly within a commercial context.

* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Analytical and detail-oriented with strong reporting and presentation abilities.

* Proactive and positive team player with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.

* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.

* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in passive fire protection.
