Job Title: Commercial Electrician - Conduit & Cable Installation

Location: Ipswich
Salary: £26 - £30 phr

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on the installation of conduit systems and electrical cabling across a range of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial units.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical conduit systems (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit)

* Carry out cable installation, routing, and termination in accordance with project specifications

* Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints

* Ensure all installations comply with current electrical codes and safety regulations

* Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades

* Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems as required

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a commercial electrician

* Strong knowledge of conduit installation and cable pulling techniques

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings

* Relevant electrical qualifications/certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

* ECS/CSCS card (preferred)

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
