Role: Senior React Engineer

Location: Work from anywhere in the UK - Manchester, London, Scotland, Newport Pagnell…it really doesn't matter.

Package: £75k-£100k + healthcare + 25 days holiday + excellent work perks.

We're looking for a Senior React Engineer who's done the hard yards…someone who's capable of leading a team (not line managing, but guiding) through a major front-end transformation, who's got scars, stories, and strong opinions, and who's ready to mentor others on the journey.

You'll be the subject matter expert, the go-to for all things React, and a key player in shaping how they build, scale, and deliver software that genuinely matters. You'll help upskill the team, challenge the status quo, and make sure they're not just following a plan, but building the right one.

What are they looking for?

* Deep expertise in React and best practices, ideally with experience leading migrations from other frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.).

* Expertise in accessibility, internationalization, and localization with React

* Strong all-round knowledge of modern front-end/JavaScript ecosystem and tools

* Knowledge of unit and web testing using tools

* A track record of mentoring and upskilling teams.

* Experience in smaller, scaling businesses or ambitious SMEs (not just big corporates).

* A passion for building software that makes a difference.
