Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant -General Support

A warm and welcoming primary school in the L15 area of Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage team from September 2025.

The Role:

As a general EYFS TA, you will:

Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities

Work closely with pupils aged 3-5 to support their early development in communication, language, and play

Deliver small group activities and interventions

Encourage positive behaviour and independence in a caring, stimulating environment

Assist with observations and contribute to children's learning journals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience working within an EYFS setting (nursery or school)

A good understanding of the EYFS Framework

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and child-centred approach to learning support
