An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and versatile Senior Florist & Operations Manager to join a thriving, sustainability-focused floristry business located near Banbury.

This role would suit someone with a strong floristry background who also enjoys the operational side of a creative business. Working closely with a small and talented team, the Senior Florist & Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the studio, manage client relationships, and contribute to the long-term growth and direction of the business.

The ideal candidate will be confident working on complex projects, handling logistics, supporting a team, and delivering beautiful, thoughtful floral work in line with the brand's ethos and aesthetic.

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day operations including planning, logistics, and quality control

* Act as main point of contact for select clients, managing proposals, briefs, and communications

* Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of freelancers and team members

* Lead weekly meetings and maintain internal documentation and contracts

* Oversee quotations, invoicing, expenses, and budgeting with the wider team

* Ensure brand values and sustainability goals are reflected in all projects

* Deliver floristry work as required, supported by a team of trusted freelancers

* Plan and lead creative workshops, maintain workspaces and equipment

* Document work for marketing and internal use

* Contribute to foraging, creative planning, and seasonal development

Skills and attributes required

* At least 3 years' experience working in a floristry business

* Strong organisational and leadership skills

* Excellent computer literacy, including Excel formulas, Apple devices, and social media

* Familiarity with basic photography equipment for documenting work

* A full UK manual driving licence, with confidence driving a van when needed

* A creative and proactive mindset, with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in work

* Clear communicator with the ability to motivate and support others

Desirable

* Experience developing client proposals and managing budgets

* An interest in sustainability and regenerative practices
