My Oxford based Client is urgently recruiting for a driven and highly organised Events Manager or Project Manager with strong stakeholder management skills and experience delivering end-to-end events. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events that meet strategic objectives-ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and Gantt charts for multiple concurrent events

Lead and facilitate workshops with internal teams and external stakeholders to align objectives and define event outcomes

Coordinate with stakeholders, sponsors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution

Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals for internal approvals and client engagement

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards

Post-event evaluation including stakeholder feedback and performance analysis

About You

Proven experience managing events or projects from concept to completion

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels

Strong organisational and planning abilities-proficient in project management tools and Gantt chart creation

Skilled in facilitating workshops to gather input and align stakeholders

Confident preparing and delivering proposals and presentations

High attention to detail, multitasking ability, and calm under pressure

Knowledge of budgeting, timelines, and event operations

Desirable

Experience in corporate or agency events

Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar

A background in marketing, communications, or business is advantageous

This is an 18 month contract, based in Oxford on a hybrid basis for an initial 18 month fixed term contract paid on a salary basis.
