We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project/Design Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions and managing engineering projects from concept through to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed designs, overseeing project execution, and ensuring all work is carried out to the highest technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical design projects from initial concept through to completion.

Produce and review drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, production, and HSE.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise across projects.

Skills & Experience

Strong background in mechanical design and project engineering.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent understanding of design standards, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

COMAH site experience is highly desirable.
