The school is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking to thrive in a supportive, dynamic environment.

The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language while helping develop essential reading, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to students' needs

Provide constructive feedback to support academic growth

Encourage participation in extracurricular activities such as writing clubs and competitions

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches

Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold its core values

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)

Experience teaching English in a secondary school environment

Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English

Creative and student-centred teaching approach

Effective classroom management skills and a proactive mindset

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
