An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a leading and rapidly growing food manufacturing business. This forward-thinking company is investing heavily in its people, processes, and technology, and is looking for a proactive and driven individual to take ownership of site reliability, asset care, and performance optimisation.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements across engineering and production by analysing equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting the long-term strategic maintenance goals of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and lead reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.

* Analyse breakdown trends, root causes, and failure data to recommend and implement corrective actions.

* Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to optimise maintenance practices and equipment efficiency.

* Support the rollout and development of condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance systems.

* Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.

* Drive a reliability culture across the engineering department, training teams on best practices and tools.

Requirements:

* HND / HNC or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

* Proven experience in a Reliability Engineer or similar role within food manufacturing or FMCG.

* Strong understanding of TPM, RCA, FMEA, CMMS, and other reliability tools and methodologies.

* Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to influence and lead change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
