Job Title: Class 1 Driver – Day Shifts

Salary: £34,000 per annum (£36,000 with ADR)

About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver to work at their Birmingham site. This is a day shift position with a competitive annual salary of £34,000, rising to £36,000 for ADR-qualified drivers. The role involves delivering goods in a safe, timely, and professional manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles in line with UK driving regulations
• Carry out deliveries and collections as scheduled
• Ensure accurate completion of all delivery paperwork and reports
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Must be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification and valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• ADR certification desirable (higher salary applies)
• Strong time management skills and a professional attitude

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts
