Thriving technology business creates a standalone role for an experienced Finance Manager

The Company

This leading technology company visualises continued growth within their successful business which allows them to hire an experienced Finance Manager to be fully responsible for their accounting activities in this site-based role.

The Opportunity

As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations, ensuring its long-term financial stability, where your duties will include:

* Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

* Manage the end-to-end process of sales and purchase invoice processing, from receipt to payment, and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

* Prepare VAT return reports and payroll information for external accountants with the view to bring this in-house.

* Perform month-end procedures.

* Monitor and analyse financial performance, provide insightful recommendations, and identify potential areas for improvement.

* Complete bank payments, postings, and reconciliations.

* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.

* Ensure effective cash flow management and oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, cash forecasting, and foreign exchange transactions.

* Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate payment plans where required.

Personal Profile

We are looking to speak to candidates who can demonstrate prior knowledge of the above tasks and who are looking to take ownership of the finance function for our client. With the business set on a decent growth trajectory, they are keen to hire a meticulous finance professional who can develop process and procedures to ensure best practice. You will have prior knowledge of Sage 50 and be confident with communicating with both customers and suppliers, and looking for personal development alongside creating a credible finance function.
