Preston

Mon to Fri

8am to 4pm and 9am to 5pm on a weekly rota

Upto £27k

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a motivated Service Administrator, preferably with engineer co-ordination experiences to join a Service Team with a local and successful business who put their people first.

You will support the coordination of field engineers' schedules. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive work ethic. Previous experience in a service-related role is highly desirable. Please be confident in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.

What does a Service Administrator do?

A Service Administrator will:

Work efficiently and collaboratively within the Service & Maintenance Team.
Stay motivated and maintain a positive attitude to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and team goals.
Demonstrate high standards of work and effective time management.
Take ownership of their performance, being accountable for both successes and areas for improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Schedule field engineers and keep customers informed of appointments.
Generate invoices for completed work.
Process paperwork from subcontractors.
Manage site permits required for field engineers.
Follow up on quotations issued by the Service Desk.
Respond promptly and effectively to customer issues.
Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
Monitor and respond to emails and other correspondence.
Manage and complete work streams, including quotes, portals, and general office tasks.
Provide administrative support across the department.
Prioritise customer satisfaction and meet the 24-hour SLA target.
Organise and manage individual workload effectively.
Strive to exceed customer expectations.
Report and address quality issues promptly, learning from any errors.
Communicate any concerns or issues to your manager at the start of each day.
