Our client is seeking an Estimator.

Salary: £27,800 pa

Location: Aylesford, Kent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4pm

Estimator requirements:

Essential:

* Minimum 2 years' office experience

* Advanced Excel

* IT literate - Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook

* Minimum of 5 GCSE's, grades A - C including Maths, English.

* Full driving licence.

* Committed to achieving high standards of service

* Strong communicator - verbal and written and face to face

Estimator responsibilities:

* To work towards team sales target each month

* To build business with existing clients

* To generate quotes in a timely manner and follow up to secure the order.

* To process sales quotations, orders and sales administration, delivering the best service practice within your control to all customers in association with the Sales Production Co-ordinator.

* Ensure all drawings, correct liaison and procedures are approved and circulated as appropriate in association with Sales Production Co-ordinator.

* To effectively communicate with the Sales Production Co-ordinator on Production areas within Manufacturing, ensuring that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately through to completion with all the necessary approvals gained.

* Liaising with sales/marketing function, to proactively network with all relevant contacts in order to generate sales growth and increase external awareness of the company.

* Be up to date with our prospects and competition to ensure responses are bespoke and deliver our strategy clearly

* To comply with all Quality Assurance procedures and Company procedures as detailed in both the Company and departmental manuals.

* To support and assist the ongoing management and development of databases and computer systems
