Machine Operative

Location: Atherstone
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 16:30

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative on behalf of our client based in the Atherstone area. Our client is a well-established business that manufactures packaging and cardboard boxes.

This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will primarily operate machinery within the production area, while also supporting with other duties across the business when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and ensuring it is set correctly

• Monitoring machines to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently

• Carrying out general production duties as required

• Assisting with other tasks within the business when needed

• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

• Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines

Requirements

• Valid external Counterbalance FLT licence required.

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience advantageous

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work as part of a team

Full training will be provided; however, previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
