We are looking for an Art Director/Designer to join the marketing team here at PRØHBTD, working out of our Los Angeles office. This position reports directly to our head of marketing.
The right person for this position thrives in an ever changing environment with a diversity of work but knows how to keep a brand’s creative voice on point through everything they do. You are going to help elevate our look and feel, with a primary focus on making sure we have the right content across our all of our social media and the supporting assets we need to promote the original series that our studio is producing. You will be on set capturing images and video and have the ability to edit them stylistically to suit multiple needs. You will also work collaboratively with our studio team to provide them with direction on what we need from them while in production on series.
We are also a rapidly growing startup, and your talents will also be used on content to support our website editorial, our brand partnerships team, and additional design needs that may arise for the team. What you’ll do:
Lead the the creative direction for series marketing assets for social, web, and partner needs
Ensure that the PRØHBTD brand voice and look is elevated and is consistently represented in all that you do
Produce high-quality material for our brand partners in collaboration with other internal departments.
Work on set to capture necessary assets and edit as required- video and static images
Lead and execute on assigned creative projects from concept to completion
Arrange for ancillary creative shoots as needed, manage third parties on a project by project basis where required.
Provide design work as needed to supplement existing internal and external resources
Be the evangelist for excellence in our consumer-facing look to the world while also being aware of internal priorities and budgets
Support the marketing team across projects, inclusive of multiple types of needs (digital/print/event/presentations)

What you’ll need:
An attention-grabbing portfolio in both video and still images, with an emphasis on social media and creative assets to support brand extension and series marketing. If your current role doesn’t allow for that, then also share your personal/speculative work that demonstrates your creative voice
An ability to tell a story through your work
A self-starter mentality who is painstaking in their attention to detail from conception to final output
A highly collaborative personality that will work hand in hand with the creative leads in our content studio
Excellent communicator who can articulate their rationale for their creative direction
Experience creating and designing for all channels (digital, mobile, social, events and email) with an innate sense of what works on social media especially
Willingness to take direction and feedback to then execute on sometimes tight turnarounds
3+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in an art-related field
Strong skills using the Adobe creative suite or other similar programs
Background in motion graphics, animation, photography and writing
What’s a plus:
Experience working with an ad/creative agency with a diversity of clients or in Cannabis/adjacent industries such as entertainment or lifestyle brands
Advanced understanding of marketing and branding
Passion for a startup environment and the temperament to thrive in it
