Desian Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Southport who are seeking committed and enthusiastic Early Teaching Assistants to support Early Years to Key Stage 2 classes for the summer term.

About the Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning.
• Helping pupils develop core skills in communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
• Assisting with activities, classroom organisation, and pupil well-being.
• Building strong relationships with young learners and creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.

We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in a school setting.
• A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum and child development.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable.
