Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Day shift (7am-3pm), Monday to Friday

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our Global Manufacturing client with the appointment of an Electrical Maintneance Engineer on a permannet basis to join their growing team.

This role will focus on the effective preventative proactive mainteancne of plant and equipment. You will drive continuous improvement and be involved in small Capex Projects.

Job Description

* Manages the activities of control and information engineering support, contractors, operations, continuous improvement and equipment specialists when implementing changes to ECI systems or responding with the instrumentation and control systems.

* Responsible for site HV'LV supplies including Maintenance and Servicing requirements

* Co-ordinates continuous improvement to improve plant mean time between failure

* Propose counter measures for issues encountered escalating to both the Capex team for completion and completing smaller projects within their own team

* Drive a lean Continuous improvement culture across the teams

* Optimise and continuously seek to improve processes and euopment using Quick Kaizen techniques and CI principals and tools

Skills Required

* Time served, ideally HNC/HND Qualified

* Extensive experience in manufacturing environment

* Proven continuous improvement experience and achievements

* Electrically biased, 18th edition

* Experience of working with PLCs SCADA DCS MES
