Support Workers & Senior Support Workers - Kent (Permanent Roles | EBD)

I'm currently working with a well-established provider supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), who are expanding their teams across Kent.

We are recruiting for both Support Workers and Senior Support Workers on a permanent basis - ideal for those looking to build or progress a career in children's residential care.

💡 The Roles:

Support Worker:
* Provide day-to-day care, structure and emotional support
* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
* Support routines, education and activities
* Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours

Senior Support Worker:
* Lead shifts and support the wider team
* Oversee behaviour management and care planning
* Support staff development and mentor junior team members
* Ensure safeguarding, compliance and high standards of care

👤 What we're looking for:
* Experience working with children or young people (EBD preferred)
* Resilient, calm and able to manage challenging behaviours
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
* Previous senior experience (for Senior roles)
* Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (desirable for Senior roles)

* £13.50 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
