Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Kings Heath area after Easter.

This is a full-time, long-term position running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into the next academic year for the right candidate.

About the Role:

Full classroom responsibility for a Year 2 class

Planning, preparation and delivery of engaging KS1 lessons

Assessment, tracking and marking in line with school policy

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and attainment

Working collaboratively with SLT and support staff

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential

Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Ability to commit until the end of the academic year

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
