About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional responsible for the company products as per production drawings and works orders with strict adherence to quality standard. Welders must be coded to BSEN ISO 9606-1:2017 (Current).
Working in conjunction with the onsite Management Team to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards so our colleagues are kept safe.
Principle Accountabilities
- Welding coded steel materials to a minimum standard set out within BS EN 287
- Follow and understand production drawings and works orders
- Operation of touchscreen computers
- Be aware of and always adhere to health and safety rules and regulations in respect of PPR and RPE
- Responsible for pre-shift checks and reporting any issues
- Previous use of manipulator would be beneficial
- Responsible for achieving daily targets as required
- Be aware of and always adhere to Health & Safety policies and requirements for a Production environment; See it, Stop it, Report it
- Undertake Training and Continuous Improvement opportunities
- Any other reasonable duties within your skills remit to support the operational duties of the department or company
Qualifications
- WPQR MIG Welding Qualifications preferred (or equivalent)
- FLT Licence would be beneficial
- Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks
