Sphere Solutions are keen to speak with experienced Estimators with regional / contracting experience. Our client is a regional building contractor based in Plymouth and due to continued success and growth are looking to expand the pre-construction team and appoint an Estimator. With an multi discipline client base, covering healthcare, defence, manufacturing and commercial projects will be Plymouth, Exeter and surrounding areas.

The role:

* Joining a pre-construction team, developing tenders for client submission

* Obtaining prices/quotes from the supply chain

* Ability to do 'take offs' and price jobs from first principles

* Risk evaluation

* Lead the bid process, be client facing and head presentations.

Skills:

* Successful track record of working as an Estimator.

* Have tendering experience of projects from £100k up to £7m.

* Ability to price multiple jobs at different stages.

* D&B experience would be an advantage.

* Desire and drive to continually improve.

* Have a full driving license.
