Description

Lead and manage housing operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Oversee property management, including maintenance, tenancy agreements, and resident satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategic housing initiatives.
Monitor budgets and financial performance related to housing services.
Resolve escalated issues or complaints from residents effectively and professionally.
Ensure the organisation remains compliant with health and safety standards across all properties.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors and local authorities.

A successful Housing Services Manager should have:

Proven experience in property or housing management within the not-for-profit sector.
Experienced in resident engagement (essential)
Experience in income management would be a strong plus but not essential
Strong knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Competence in budget management and financial planning.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
A commitment to delivering high-quality services to residents.
