Following a major new contract win, our client a leading Facilities Management provider is expanding their team and seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their mobile workforce. The Role

As a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will deliver both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of commercial properties within the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong technical background, the ability to problem-solve under pressure, and excellent client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems.

*

Diagnose and rectify faults on split systems, VRV/VRF, chillers, and other associated equipment.

*

Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and company procedures.

*

Work closely with colleagues and subcontractors to deliver seamless service.

*

Provide updates to the helpdesk and maintain accurate service records.

*

Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard.

Person Specification

*

F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential).

*

NVQ/SVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).

*

Previous experience in commercial AC maintenance, ideally in retail, leisure, or other high-footfall environments.

*

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

*

Full UK driving licence (essential).

*

Flexible approach to working across the Central Belt on a mobile basis.
