Quantity Surveyor needed to work for a busy Structural Steelwork fabricator / installer.

You will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account, working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts

* Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts

* Supporting tender submissions and contract negotiations

* Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance

* Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams

* Ensuring contracts are administered in line with company and client requirements

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor

* Background in engineering, utilities, water, or construction preferred

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Confident communicator, able to work with technical and non-technical teams

* Good working knowledge of contracts and cost control

* Proficient in Excel and standard commercial software
