Recruitment Solutions are working to recruit a Management Accountant for our Client with a TO of c £5m – established for over 15 years based on the edge of Bury.

The role of the Management Accountant will report to the Finance Director – with a dotted line to the MD – you will be experienced enough to be able to offer Commercial opinions and offer support across continuous improvements.

The role of the Management Accountant

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with Preparation of Year End Accounts Pack – working closely with External Accountants
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts pack to include Profit and Loss / Balance Sheet Reviews and Narrative
• Budgeting and Forecasting – Annual Set up and Quarterly Review
• Cash flow Analysis and Reporting – including Aged Debt Threats and Actions
• Supporting the business with Commercial and Financial insights

Skills and Qualifications needed for the role of the Management Accountant

• AAT / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Proven experience in Management Accounting
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Proactive, organised, and commercially minded
