Frontline Recruitment Derby is seeking an experienced Guillotine (print finishing) Operator to join our clients busy Print Finishing department. This role is ideal for a detail-focused individual with a strong background in print, both cutting and finishing within a secure print environment.

The Role

Operate guillotines to cut printed materials accurately to specification

*

Read and interpret job tickets and cutting schedules

*

Ensure high standards of accuracy, quality, and consistency

*

Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic fault finding

*

Minimise waste and maximise efficiency

*

Work flexibly across double day shifts (early/late rotation)

*

Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and security procedures

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience operating guillotines within print finishing

*

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

*

Ability to work to tight tolerances and deadlines

*

Comfortable working flexible double day shifts

*

Reliable, security-conscious, and team-oriented

Desirable:

Experience within security printing or high-spec print environments

*

Knowledge of ISO or controlled production processes
