The Pre-Construction Manager roleYou'll lead all pre-construction commercial activity, taking responsibility for cost planning, value engineering, tender submissions, and subcontractor engagement. The role ensures projects are commercially robust, risks are identified early, and margins are protected before handover to delivery teams.

Essential skills

• Strong background in pre-construction, commercial management or quantity surveying

• Proven experience producing detailed cost plans and BoQs

• Tender management and subcontractor bid analysis experience

• Working knowledge of JCT, NEC or bespoke contracts

• Confident communicator across design, legal and delivery teams

• MRICS or MCIOB preferred
