Job Description Organizational Overview As an Associate with SSC Health, you will be part of an organization that promotes better health outcomes for consumers through clinical and technological innovations. Role Overview Implementation Consultants possess subject matter expertise in multiple functional areas (e.g., benefits, eligibility, pharmacy networks) and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SSC operational workflow and processes, products, and service offerings. They lead and perform activities that support new business and product implementations, global initiatives, andor internal daily operations. They develop and maintain implementation models that outline the business requirements associated with various implementations. Implementation Consultants support large, complex, andor high priority implementation projects and may lead implementations of moderate scope and complexity. They work directly with the customer and internal departments to plan, coordinate, and execute project tasks on schedule with available resources. They coordinate project tasks related to requirements analysis, configuration and customization, project documentation, customer communication, issue resolution, testing, customer trainingeducation, solution deployment and implementation, and post-implementation support. They identify, research, and resolve andor engage others in the research and resolution of moderately complex implementation problems. They manage customer expectations and ensure project outcomes successfully meet those expectations. They communicate and escalate across business groups and to leadership. They may provide scheduled and ad-hoc support in their areas of expertise to internal business units. Using product, industry, and best business practices knowledge and experience, Implementation Consultants function in a consultative role, serving as subject matter expert and project resource during an implementation, conversion, upgrade, expansion of new services andor products, andor process optimization review. They identify and present software product solutions and related business solutions that support the customer's tactical and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to solution definition, requirements analysis, system configuration and customization, scope analysis, workflow consulting, data mapping, detailed project documentation, issue resolution, testing, customer trainingeducation, solution deployment and implementation, and transitory post-implementation support. Implementation Consultants partner with other functional groups (e.g., marketingsales, applications analysis, development teams) and customers to introduce and support new product functionality andor additional product andor service offerings. May identify additional revenue opportunities and provide cross-selling support. Responsibilities Capture customer(s') vision and define business need, collaborating SME's, stakeholders, customer representatives on global projects. Functions as a liaison between customers and internal groups to coordinate information technology solutions with business initiatives. Engage and assist technical teams, subject-matter experts, customers, and vendors in the development of detailed product requirements and specifications. Escalate and manage issues in a timely manner. Proactively engage appropriate individuals or management in issue awarenessresolution as necessary. Facilitate communication between members of the project team, including the customer, internal resources, steering committee members, executive project sponsors, and third-party vendors. Provide customer relationship management, including setting expectations, during the lifecycle of the implementation project. Qualifications Minimal Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work-related experience, or 4 years equivalent work-related experience Preferred Previous Implementation, project management andor PBM industry experience is preferred.
