Nexus Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Property Manager for an independent managing agent in Bromley. My client is a small but successful firm who have grown their business over the years. This is a support position to a Senior Block Manager, but once you are established within the role, you will begin to take on a small portfolio of your own and progress to a Block Manager with your own portfolio. There is a dedicated training programme assigned to this role, so you will have the full support to progress within the company in a reasonable time scale.

Core duties:

• Shadow a Senior Property Manager on the management of their portfolios
• Regular site inspections with the team
• Letters to residents
• Core admin duties as delegated
• Assisting with leasehold enquiries
• Assist with the production of budgets
• Attend AGM’s with team members to take minutes

As a small-medium sized company, the 1-2-1 training you will receive will propel your career forward at a much faster pace than in a larger organisation. You will get a lot of hands-on training and support from day one. After probation, you will be enrolled on the TPI course, if you haven’t already started. This position is an office-based role until you are more established in the position, after which they are open to discussing home working.

Required attributes:

• 1 year+ experience within property management (AST or leasehold)
• TPI qualifications desired, but not essential
• Well-organised
• Personable & well-presented
