Full-Time KS4 Tutor - Alternative ProvisionLocation: SalfordStart Date: ASAPFull-Time | Term-Time Only

A specialist Alternative Provision in Salford is seeking a dedicated and resilient KS4 Tutor to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils in Years 10-11 who require additional support to re-engage with education. The provision supports young people with a range of needs, including SEMH, behavioural challenges, and disrupted educational experiences.

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group tuition to KS4 pupils

• Support GCSE progress in core subjects (English and Maths essential)

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Build positive, professional relationships to promote engagement

• Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and academic skills

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals

• Have experience working with KS4 students

• Be confident delivering GCSE-level English and/or Maths

• Have experience in alternative provisions, PRUs, or SEMH settings (desirable)

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• Be patient, empathetic, and consistent in approach

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)

• A supportive and experienced leadership team
