Multi-Trade Operative

Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £36,000 per year
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week, 8:00am - 4:30pm)
Holidays: 23 days per year

About the Role:
Our client is a reputable maintenance contractor working with social housing clients, and they're looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their team. You will be carrying out repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties, covering a wide range of work including kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, painting, patch plastering, basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out repairs and maintenance in occupied properties safely and efficiently

* Complete work to a high standard across various trades including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting, and plastering

* Maintain a professional and courteous approach when working in tenants' homes

* Use company tools, van, and fuel card responsibly

* Report any issues or further works needed to your supervisor

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a multi-trade operative or carpenter

* Ability to work across a variety of trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, painting, plastering)

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Excellent communication skills and professional attitude

* Full UK driving licence
